Hi, I'm Suzan! 👋

/soo • zahn/

I’m a midwest-based UX designer and problem solver.

I am currently a UX Designer and Researcher at the University of Michigan Library, where I am using forward-thinking technologies to create high-quality, user-centered library tools for researchers. I enjoy projects that bridge the gap between human needs and emerging technology.

I recently completed my MS in UX research & design at the University of Michigan’s School of Information. Before diving into UX, I completed my bachelor's in linguistics and political science from McGill University. This background, coupled with my experience as an immigration paralegal, gave me a foundation in guiding users through complex systems and creating high-quality customer experiences.

I'm excited to leverage my passion for research-driven, inclusive design in new and challenging spaces. Take a look at my work, and let's connect!
