Hi, I'm Suzan! 👋

/soo • zahn/

I’m a midwest-based UX designer and problem solver.

I’m a graduate of University of Michigan’s MS in UX Research & Design, where I spent 20 months fully immersed in user research and human-centered design principles.

I've spent plenty of time running interviews, usability tests, and iterating on designs until they feel right. I enjoy working across the research-to-design spectrum: from getting to know users and their needs to building products that solve problems for the people using them.

Currently:
I am a UX Designer and Researcher at the University of Michigan Library, where I am creating high-quality, user-centered library tools for researchers.
Outside of work:
I love to stay active (🧘 🏋️ 🥾 🏃 🎾 ⚽), browse used bookstores for my next mystery novel, travel, visit art museums, and play puzzles/trivia games.
Thanks for visiting!
